2014年6月9日上午10：30-12：00，American University Kogod商學院副院長Ajay Adhikari教授應管理與經(jīng)濟學院邀請，在主樓216會議室，為會計系老師，博士與碩士研究生就“Decision Usefulness of Joint Venture Reporting Methods Under IFRS: Evidence From European Blue Chips”為題，做了一場精彩的學術報告。
報告分析歐盟各國聯(lián)營企業(yè)報告方法，以權益法與成本法如何在聯(lián)營企業(yè)應用進行了分析檢驗，報告引用詳實的數(shù)據(jù)進行了驗證。報告結束后，Ajay熱情回答了老師和同學們的提問，特別對如何到該學院進行交換與學習進行了咨詢。演講取得預期成果。
主講人簡介：
Professor Adhikari teaches financial and international accounting and conducts research focused on determinants of international accounting diversity, international accounting harmonization and accounting infrastructure in emerging markets. In 2009-2010, Professor Adhikari served as the Annual Program Chair for the American Accounting Association. He is a past President of the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. Professor Adhikari has been an EEC Fellow at the Danish Summer Research Institute, Visiting Fulbright Scholar at Kuwait University, and a Visiting Professor at Chuo University, Japan. He also serves on the advisory board of the Asian Accounting, Finance and Business Research Unit at Cardiff Business School, United Kingdom. In five separate years, 2010, 2008, 2007, 2006, and 2004, Adhikari was voted the Kogod Graduate Business Professor of the Year.
