2013年12月13日下午，北卡州立大學公共管理專業(yè)博士候選人楊崢訪問管理與經濟學院并作題為“Networks within Network: Learning from the Healthy Carolinians Project”的學術報告。報告會由李亞教授主持。
楊崢介紹了她所在團隊兩年來對美國北卡州公共健康組織之間合作伙伴關系（partnership）的研究。該研究通過問卷調查與計量統(tǒng)計發(fā)現(xiàn)當?shù)毓步】到M織之間的合作伙伴關系中廣泛存在著共用成員的情況，并且對于較大的合作伙伴關系，成員組織在網(wǎng)絡中的位置對于組織影響力十分重要。其間楊崢詳細講解實證研究的過程，并就如何做好本專業(yè)研究的問題與在場的老師、同學進行了深入的交流。最后，公共沖突解決研究中心研究助理何鑒孜代表主辦方介紹了該中心近兩年的研究工作。
晚上，偉德國際官網(wǎng)公共事業(yè)管理2004級畢業(yè)生馬琳、韋春、周蔓回訪學院，與楊崢一起和公共管理系的本科生、研究生座談交流，分享自己出國、工作等的經驗與體會，為師弟師妹未來的發(fā)展規(guī)劃提出了許多中肯的建議。
楊崢簡介：
Zheng YANG is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration at North Carolina State University (U.S.A). She has been a member of the Firechasers project at NC State University, studying inter-agency coordination and communication during large wildfires. She has also been working for the Collaborative Partnerships Mapping Project to study what explains partnership influence and effectiveness. Before coming to the program, she received both her B.A. and M.A. in Public Administration from Beijing Institute of Technology. She has worked as an intern consultant in Progress Strategy Consulting Co., one of the biggest consulting companies in China. She also has years of working experience in TAL Education Group as a part-time English teacher for K-12 students. She is currently working as a teaching assistant for the course of Management System and Research Methodology of Political Science at NC State. Her current research interests include collaboration and networks, performance management, and comparative studies between Chinese and American administrative systems.
