2011年12月21日，Yong Wang博士應(yīng)管理與經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院之邀在主樓216室作了題為Industrial Dynamics, International Trade, and Economic Growth的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。報(bào)告的主要內(nèi)容是關(guān)于各國產(chǎn)業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)、國際貿(mào)易和經(jīng)濟(jì)增長關(guān)系的論文。應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)系馬明主任主持了本次報(bào)告。
報(bào)告會(huì)在輕松自然的氛圍下展開，Yong Wang博士首先介紹了目前在國際貿(mào)易對(duì)各國經(jīng)濟(jì)的影響方面的理論與實(shí)證研究，指出已有研究對(duì)于國際貿(mào)易對(duì)各國經(jīng)濟(jì)的影響并未給予各國產(chǎn)業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)足夠的關(guān)注。接著介紹了論文模型中的主要假設(shè)，假設(shè)中加入了dynamic trade policies這個(gè)新觀點(diǎn)。報(bào)告內(nèi)容涉及復(fù)雜的理論模型，Yong Wang博士深入淺出地對(duì)論文中的模型進(jìn)行了說明，最后就國際貿(mào)易及動(dòng)態(tài)貿(mào)易政策對(duì)不同國家的產(chǎn)業(yè)升級(jí)的影響得出結(jié)論并指出進(jìn)一步研究方向。
最后，在場的師生就有關(guān)問題與Yong Wang博士進(jìn)行了溝通和交流，分享了他在芝加哥大學(xué)的求學(xué)經(jīng)歷?，F(xiàn)場氣氛熱烈，極大地開拓了師生的思路和視野。
主講人簡介：
Yong Wang obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2009, his MA in CCER at Peking University (2003), and BA at Fudan University (2000). His research interests include Economic Growth, International Trade, Political Economy, China and India Economies. His recent research mainly focuses on the macroeconomic analyses of structural change, industrial dynamics, and industrial policies in developing countries. Yong was a resident research fellow at the World Bank during the 2010-2011 academic year and he has been serving as a consultant there since 2008. his webpage: http://ihome.ust.hk/~yongwang/
