岳曉航博士是美國(guó)威斯康星大學(xué)米爾沃基校園(The University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee)商學(xué)院副教授，美國(guó)供應(yīng)鏈管理協(xié)會(huì)、管理科學(xué)及運(yùn)籌學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)和運(yùn)營(yíng)管理協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員；主要從事供應(yīng)鏈與物流管理、生產(chǎn)與市場(chǎng)管理和工業(yè)制造系統(tǒng)管理的研究工作。在POM，IJPR， IJPE，IIE, IEEE, EJOR，Omega等國(guó)際期刊共發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文20余篇?，F(xiàn)任《Production and Operations Management》雜志評(píng)審委員會(huì)成員，為二十余家雜志和出版社評(píng)審文章和書(shū)籍。
內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介：
Bullwhip effect (BWE) in a serial supply chain has been studied extensively in the supply chain management literature. Analytical research has quantified BWE at the firm-level and identified several drivers of it. This paper explores firm-level and industry-level BWEs using a multi-firm interdependent demand model representative of an industry and provides an explanation based on rational decisions made by individual firms in response to industry characteristics for mixed results between observed firm-level BWE and industry-level BWE.
