December 22, 2010, in the morning, Deputy Director Chen Linhao, and Division Director Li Xin, Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, visited SME to inspect and guide our work on application of UNESCO Chairs "South-South co-operation on climate change".
The establishment of the Chair will help to expand the international influence of our school, promote construction of related disciplines and scientific research, train international talents, and promote the University’s international scientific and technological cooperation on climate change, and contribute to China and the United Nations’ response to climate change.
