The Fourth Academic Month of SME came to an end as its closing gathering was held Jan. 13 pm in the Graduate Student bldg, with students and administrative officers from SME and its Departments attending.
Deputy rector Zhu Donghua gave the Academic Month a concise review, followed by an award promulgation ceremony. Then Prof. Ma Ming, Dean of the Department of Applied Economics, made instructive comments on several representative treatises presented to the Month and expressed his desire of reading more and better research papers in the days to come.
The gathering was over with Mr. Li Hezhang’s summary talk, in which he called for an even more active part in such academic activities from both faculty members and students for the advancement of SME academic life.
SME students are happy for the fruitful results of the Fourth Academic Month, and are looking forward to more and better achievements in the following Months.
