July 31, 2014, a preparatory meeting to set up Western Chapter of BIT School of Management and Economics Engineering graduates Alumni was held at the 3rd floor conference room in Qinghai Oilfield Company. The establishment of the Western alumni chapter is to inherit and carry forward the glorious tradition and fine style of Beijing Institute of Technology, to strenghten links between the western alumni and the alma mater and other alumni; to deepen mutual understanding between alumni, enhance alumni friendship, integrate Alumni resources, promote alumni cooperation and build high-end human resources, information resources and academic resources platform for alumni growth, while to actively explore alumni resources, actively participate in social welfare activities, effectively advocate Beijing Institute of Technology Master of Engineering programs, recommend outstanding engineering and management talents to the community.
