November 9-12, 2013, the Seventh Sino-Japan Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Symposium was held in Beijing Institute of Technology. The conference was organized by Beijing University of Technology School of Management and Economics and BIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, and funded by the National Natural Science Foundation Committee. The conference received support from Kyoto University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Hefei Industrial University, Suzhou University, Xi'an University of Science and a number of institutions. Focusing on the theme of " Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change", the conference hosted 30 academic reports.
