September 18, 2012, in the afternoon, Dr. Tan Weiping, Stevens Institute of Technology, USA, was invited to visit the Research Center for Energy and Environmental Policy of Beijing Institute of Technology (CEEP-BIT) and gave an academic report entitled “Readiness assessment and advancement for development of complex systems” at the center’s meeting room. Associate Professor Zhang Yuejun hosted the lecture.
Dr. Tan described some of the basic issues in the field of complex systems modeling, as well as some basic concepts of multi-function and multi-purpose.
