April 27, 2012, in the morning, Ms. Sharon Bamford, Executive Chairman of the Association of MBAs (AMBA), Professor Wang Chongming, board member and the chief expert of China region, and Mr. George Iliev, international certification director, visited our school. Dean Yi-Ming Wei and Party secretary Jinlin Li met with the delegation. Associate Dean Zhaohua Wang, Assistant Dean Zhi-Jun Yan and BiWen Zhou, director of the MBA Center participated in the meeting.
Dean Yi-Ming Wei and Secretary Jinlin Li briefed the delegation on achievements made by the SME on discipline construction, scientific research, personnel training and social services, especially the latest developments after the MBA / EMBA programs certification. Ms. Bamford introduced the purpose and activities of the AMBA, said AMBA would give more support for the international development and international cooperation of our MBA / EMBA programs. She nvited the SME to take part in Global Business School Presidency Conference to be held in Spain in middle May.
The delegation also visited the Teaching Experiment Center and the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center.
